HOW DO WE APPLY?
You will need to submit a letter of application on a maximum of 3 sheets of your organisation’s headed notepaper.
In your letter you must answer the following 10 questions:
- What are the stated aims and objectives of your organisation?
- If your organisation has charitable status, please quote your registered charity number. If you are a community group you should append a copy of your constitution.
- What is the financial state of your organisation? A set of the previous year’s financial accounts should be appended.
- What is the purpose and description of the activity for which the grant is requested?
- How will the project make a difference to the recipients and how will you measure the outcomes?
- How much are you asking for?
- How is the activity or project costed? You should attach a clear financial breakdown of the activity for which you are seeking funding.
- Who else is being asked or has agreed to provide funding? Details of all actual and potential donors, together with the amounts they are considering, or have agreed to fund, should be given.
- How is your organisation run? e.g. The management structure of your organisation including details of any trustee or management board, a list of your policies and a copy of your child protection policy.
- How can we contact you? A contact name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, if possible, must be included with the documentation.

Your application will be acknowledged and will be considered at the next scheduled Trustees’ meeting, held twice a year. As soon as possible after this meeting, you will be informed in writing of the Trustees’ decision, which is final.
